Core Memory Lantern
A customizable lamp exploring how personal photographs can become part of a physical object. Core Memory Lantern combines a hand-formed aluminum body with 3D-printed lithophane panels that reveal their images when illuminated.
Light as material.
Each lantern was built from laser-cut aluminum, bent and finished by hand. Customer photographs were converted into 3D-printed lithophanes, using variations in material thickness to create detailed images when illuminated from within.
